NAPA Center is very excited to announce that the Trexo Plus Gait Training Program will be available starting August 19th at their flagship location, NAPA Center Los Angeles. The Trexo Plus is the first wearable robotic platform designed to help children with disabilities experience walking.

The Trexo Plus is comprised of wearable robotic legs that attach to a walker. The device is safe and mobile, allowing a child to experience over-ground walking independently. The unique ankle design provides the capability for the user to engage their muscles by pushing themselves forward.

Early research indicates that, in conjunction with therapy, utilization of robotic gait training induces improvements in functional activities and gait pattern. The Trexo system has been shown to be effective for children who are unable to walk and those who need to improve their walking abilities.

Trexo Plus appointments are available starting August 19 for $60/session.

How the Program Works

Trexo Plus appointments will be offered in 30-minute sessions and can be scheduled on a single appointment basis or added on top of any intensive therapy program from the August 19th session onward.

Trexo Plus is currently only available in our Los Angeles location, but we do hope to extend the robotic gait training program to our Boston and Sydney families in the future!
